Picked up a remote mirror last fall at the Hershey AACA swap meet for my 1968 Delta 88. I thought the installation diagram was in the box, but now that I am ready to try and install it, I can’t seem to find it. So, hoping someone has a copy of the installation sheet, or can seem me a photo of where the interior bezel goes.

There appears to be a cutout in the door panel that looks like the right size (see “x” on the photos), but wanted to be sure before I perform surgery on the vinyl. Cutout is just in front of the vent window crank opening.

 

I'd say yes, but it's darn close to the ****...

Not mine. This one appears the same. I'd say the engineers failed on this job. I used to have a '68 Delta Custom Holiday sedan. Don't recall this problem. Either I didn't have a remote mirror, or I never opened the vent window...
