I'm looking to replace the wiring from under the dash to the rear in my 57. Can anyone tell me how to remove the connector which connects the front wire harness to the rear. It looks like it should just pop out but I'm afraid to force it. If it breaks, I don't think it's replaceable. Thanks, Dan
yup push on w "gribs" on the back side .
i just replaced all my wire w an AmericaWire set(universal) .
was going to use said connector but the kit had wires long enough .
plus gettin to that connector was really hard to get at . your pic was probably a pain to take. : )
Supmarjo, thanks for your response. I'll give it a try this weekend. I'm giving my neck and back a few days rest because you are right about it being a pain to get to. I replaced all the wiring under the dash last week. Maybe the only good thing about this COVID-19 stuff is that it's forcing me to get some things done that I have been putting off. Dan
