speedometer revs per mile
Anybody know what the revolutions per mile is on the speedo for a 61 dynamic 88? im swapping to a th400 and would like my original speedo to still read accurately. I checked my repair manual but didn't see any info on it.

Most automotive speedometers are calibrated to 1000 revolutions per mile .
The exception being 1963 thru 68 Olds speedos , which were driven off the front wheel .
The speedo on your '61 should be 1000 revs per mile .
