someone hase a 68 455 radiator schrout from a 88

should it fit my 69 88 with a 350 with HD 19inch cooling van?

it looks lik it should fit, and the fan gap is 21 inches so my 19 inch six blade should fit in there.

And he asks a reasenble price, but i have to know

I'd say yes.

 

Since '67 and '68 sheet metal are basically the same, I'd say those shrouds are probably interchangeable.
Same is probably true for '69 and '70. Hard to tell from '68 to '69 since sheet metal changed between those years.

I have a couple of NOS shrouds for late '60's full size, but I don't remember which ones.
If you're interested I can check.

 

Just get one from buickfarmer.
Seems to fit, The fan schould fit but i have to move the engine back in first to check.

'68 PN 394297; '69 PN 407895 The book shows a different part number but they are probably interchangeable... For instance, a '68 Cutlass shroud is smooth all around but the '69 Cutlass shroud has re-inforcing ribs moulded in but the two shrouds are interchangeable...

 

the attach holes line's streight up.

my consern is if the fan will fit,
someone bolted a Hd fan 19" and the poeli's of a AC.

have to wait i'l bought me performer intake that is'nt delivered yet.

Than i'l put the 455 back and hope that the huge fan wil fit properly.
The fan wil go in the schroud but does'nt have much space.
