Production #s for 69 delta 88 ragtop
Setting the Pace lists the following for '69 Delta 88 production.
Delta 88:

Holiday Coupe (two-door hardtop), 41,947
Holiday Sedan (four-door hardtop), 42,690

That website also says that total Olds production for 1969 was 655,241. Setting the Pace puts it at 696,740. Not saying one's right and the other's wrong. They're just different.

VERY generally, figure on a survival rate of about 1% after 25 years for all cars. After 25 years, the survival rate tends to level out because the car that remain are being kept on purpose. But that's a very, very average number, and convertibles tend to survive at higher rates because they're more desirable right from the start.
With a production of 5,294, if this were an "average" car, a guess that maybe 50-100 still exist today would be reasonable. But it can easily be two, three, or who knows how many times that given that it's a convertible.

Jaunty (and others), I thought you'd like to know that the GM Heritage Center confirms that the productions numbers that are in Setting The Pace are what they consider to be the official production numbers for Oldsmobile.
I say "consider" because even when they (Oldsmobile Public Relations when they were still there) had all kinds of records, there were still minor variations in the numbers depending on where they came from. So Helen Early put the numbers together using the best info possible, and that was was kept as "official" and published in that book.
