Oil Seals

Having trouble verifying that Fel-Pro P/N SS70393, oil seals for a 1962 Dynamic 88, 394, is applicable. I called Fel-Pro and they can verify it fits the Starfire 394 but does not list the Dynamic 88. For the life of me, I don't understand how this part is NOT listed for my car with the same engine... Summit Racing says it fits from 1958-1964 but again won't confirm it will fit my car. Any advice on my next move? Any other product out there to investigate? Thanks for any feedback.

Oil seal for what part of the car ? What are the differences between 88, Super 88, 98 and Starfire ?

Are you talking about valve stem seals for a 394?

Referring to the valve stem oil seals. I would think the 394 engine is the same in all models, except for carburation differences...

The catalogs from aftermarket companies are NOT reliable sources of fitment. The 394s from that year are all the same, whether in a Starfire or an Eighty eight. The valve stem seals fit all of them.

Thanks for the reply. I was totally leaning in that direction.
