new carb, new plug...
new carb, new plug...
hi... first of all, excuse me for my english i'm not good...
My car is an 1964 OLD's jetstar 88...
I just bought an manual Edelbrock carb thunder series 500cfm. My old carb is a Rochester 4bbl... I tried to install the Edel" but There was a problem. not with the kikdown rod but with the Throttle transmission switch (or throttle control switch). it's an electrical switch connected with a Dashpot switch and it goes to the solenoid connector on the transmission. Is it important to replug ,on the new Edel carb, the Throttle control switch??? or can i disconnected it without rolling trouble. I have a Edelbrock 1483 Throttle lever adapter, but it seems that the change was due to the rotation... thanx for your help.........
