Looking for opinions on car covers

I'm looking to buy a new car cover for my Delta 88 convertible. Unfortunately, there's no room in the garage to park it... so it sit's out year round. I picked up a cheap one on eBay a few years ago (don't remember the brand, was about $100)... it has done pretty well, but it's starting to fall apart. I need something water-proof, but that won't lock moisture in on the convertible top. Any advise or recommendations out there???

Clean out your garage. Your Delta deserves better than just an outdoor parking space. Ok, I know that not all mancaves are big enough and knocking out a wall to expand isn't the easiest of cost effective way to go.

Well, how about one of these? Called a portable one car garage. It also gives you room to visit in the off season or to work on the car outside when you want to. If you have the space outside, I'd go with something like this in a heartbeat. It is rain proof, sheds snow and meets California fire retardant standards, plus it has zippered ends (one in picture has ends removed) If it will fit a Ford truck, it will fit a Delta!

One car portable garage. $452 bucks is a steal. http://www.portablegaragesandshelters.com/product/1CH

I really wish I had room for something like that... or a bigger garage.
For now I'll have to settle for this.

This old thread may help. Look on the internet and read about the different covers. I think my dust top came from Carcraft.

Check this thread out.

If you find one made from super lightweight Kimberly Clark materials, you will be lucky to get 2 years out of it. After then it is as strong as a wet paper towel.
Of course what else do you relate KC to other than toilet paper?

Yes I made that $70 mistake and I am trying hard for the 3rd year. Only the duct tape sections are holding together and I am through a whole roll now. I am now using binder clips. Even my old Ford needs better than this crappy thing.
The "fabric" resembles that itchy disposible hospital clothing...
It is Budge brand.

My last one lasted about 3 years... but I keep it on year round and my driveway is HOT in the summer! But hey, $112 every three years to have a clean car on Saturday morning... I can live with that! lol
