Very rare compared to a 1994 Oldsmobile Silhouette. Not rare at all compared to a 1902 Oldsmobile curved dash Runabout.

Convertibles are always more 'rare' than hardtops. Current value is usually related to rarity. Old Cars price guide lists a #3 car at 7200, #2 at 11200, and #1 at 16000.

They built 3,716 Delta 88 Royale convertables that year but I have no numbers on how many were optioned with a 455 4bbl, dual exhausts and limited slip differential though. I think I remember a member here (monzaz I think) stating that there are not too many limited slip Olds 12 bolts around so it may be fairly rare because of that.

I believe the 71-76 full size cars actually used an oddball 9.3" axle, or something like that. Maybe it was just the wagons.

You're right Joe, I forgot about that change, all B bodies had that.

Some of these cars used a Pontiac axle that had a 10 bolt cover and a 12 bolt ring gear - just the opposite of the Type O axle that we all know and love.
