Unhappy hoses hot, lever opens louver door, cabin cold.

1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal Bromham 4.3L gas. New water pump, hot top hose, back flushed heater core, both hoses hot,
removed the glove box, extra rush of air when the lever is pushed to the hot side, and top lever on the heater setting.
Air is cold.
Where to go from here?

If both hoses stay hot the heater core may be air bound or clogged. The supply should be hot/engine temp, the return cooler/warm.

I was wondering if the top hoses and heater core hoses could just be hot from the engine itself?
I was able to put water into both pipes of the heater core-to flush.

Turns out water hose pressure was not enough. Visit to Larrys Radiator and high pressure hose flushed heater core and fixed it. Thanks Guys!!
