Hi from Chicago!

Hello all, i'm new here. I just bought a 1982 oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale with only 37000 miles and it runs like a dream. I'm hoping you all can help me find parts for it (when needed) also, my mother has a 1986 cutlass supreme brougham but it is a short body like the one in this link http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_79631-O...gham-1986.html and it is very hard to find parts for the cutlass.

Welcome

Welcome to the site. Cool cars.

Not too long ago we were having a big problem with spam. To stop it, we set up the Newbie section where new members can sign on and introduce themselves.

Please tell us about your car[s] and where you’re from in this thread. After you have posted 5 times you will be able to navigate the entire site. You don’t have to wait for a response to post again to make your 5 post..

It would help us lazy Mods out if you will hold off on any specific questions until you are out of the Newbie section. In this way we can keep questions and answers better organized in the appropriate threads instead of the Newbie thread getting cluttered up with various questions that Mods will have to later move to the appropriate section.

When you begin searching threads for information, you will find it helpful if the Header tells what the thread is about. i.e. If you are looking for parts, the header should read something like WTB [Want to buy] 445 “widget.”

I hope this isn’t too confusing, if you have any questions just post them here and someone will answer them.

Glad to have you on board with us.

Jamesbo

Vyse, your "handle" sounds familar. Are you by chance of fan of the '87-'89 Lesabre T-types and a member of the board dedicated to those cars? I am (on both counts), and assume that's where I recall you from,

Regardless, good luck with the new ride.

WTB... 445 Widget

Welcome. I would say you found the right place too.

I don't mean to hijack but I will anyway.
I do need a left hand lower 445 widget since they were mentioned, mine is leaking around the muffler bearing.
