Broken turn signal on a 62 Dynamic

Does anyone know where i can find the turn signal cancel cam for a 62 Dynamic? My turn signal lever just flops up and down. Any advice would be appreciated. And if possible does anyone have a picture of what it looks like?

If Worse comes to worst, there is a 61 98 in the junkyard by me that I could pull and mail......problem is, they would want me to buy the whole column. Hopefully someone else has a better answer for you.

I have no pic, without pulling my steering wheel, which is what you are going to have to do. It is not a complicated set up. Either a spring is broken, a screw is loose or a part has cracked. You will not know until you open it up.

Have you tried Fusick for the(se) part(s)?

I had the same problem. After I took the steering wheel off I saw that the turn signal cancel cam (plastic part) was broken. I ended up getting a new one from Rock Auto. It was a $7 item. My car is a 66 Dynamic and I'm guessing yours should be similar, but make sure you check with Rock auto.

Better yet, call the guys at Shee Mar. I believe they supply Rock Auto. http://www.shee-mar.com/ I called them up and they were helpful. They confirmed with me that I was ordering the right part from Rock Auto.

This was a simple repair and my turn signal action is like new now.
