Any pictures of a 2 door 1977 Delta 88????

My first car was a maroon 1977 Delta 88 with an Olds 350. It was a 2 door with the partial vinyl top. I had lots of fun in that car, but haven't seen one like it in years. At some point I had 9 people in there (yes I was in high school). Anybody here have any pictures on one to post for me to look at? I hope so. Thanks. Tom.

I sold this one a couple years ago, 1977 Delta 88 Pace Car replica. I wish I could keep them all but I can't!

That is a pretty car John. Oldsguy owned one when I was a kid. He said it was one of the nicest cars he ever owned. I always thought one of those cars would look great with a 455 and Roots type blower.

2blu442, thanks for the pictures. That brings back lots of good memories. I wasn't smart enough to take a picture of it when I was 16/17. Thanks.

That '77 Pace Car does look good. I recall being disappointed however to learn that these cars came with split bench seats. If I ever bought one, I'd like to convert it to buckets and console. Probably doable, perhaps if expensive (console/shifter, steering column mods, custom upholstered buckets to match the interior).

In 77 or 78 the 88 was available as a Holiday 88. It has bucket seats and a console. I remember seeing one in the salvage yard once. I also think it had T-tops. I would gladly give my first born child for one of these cars (she is coming in April if you want to make a deal).

You better NOT!!!!!

Your mom will kill you.

And by the way, that '77 Delta 88 was one of the classiest, if not THE classiest cars I ever owned. Very nice car, and it was maroon with a half vinyl top too.

I just had baby number 2 this last week. Even though I loved my Delta 88 Royale, I wouldn't trade my new little girl for one. I guess you said first born though... There are certain days I might trade my 4 year old boy (first born)...

Congratulations! I bet you are stoked.

BTW, I was just kidding. I wouldn't trade my baby for anything, even an Oldsmobile.

It's funny you guys mention giving up your first-born for one of these cars I have an original 77 Pace Car that my parents bought brand new. I was brought home from the hospital in this car when I was born. So, obviously (besides it's EXTREME rarity) it is very sentimental to me. My wife knows that under hard circumstances, that SHE AND THE KIDS GO BEFORE this car. I call it my First Girlfriend, because it always got more attention than the chicks did, and not that they were ugly
