So figured I'd show you guys what the olds looked like when i got it and how it looks now.
After almost 4 years of owning this car i finally painted it nothing special just cheap black spray paint, But a hell of a difference

Thanks guys it was lots of work but i love the finished product. Still in the process of doing other mods and upgrades. As for rims i'm not looking to get chromed out 20 inch rims or anything like that . If anything i'd like to get a nice set of black Olds 15 inch rally rims. Those rims would really complete the car imo.

There are SS wheels made for your car. They had a special center cap though and are very hard to find.(second pic) If you just want to dress up the car without changing the wheels, you can buy a set of 84 spoke wire covers. They really dress up the car and don't cost a ton of money. Just have to find a decent set for a decent price. Here's what they look like (same as 83). This was my 98 just before I sold it.

No problem i mean some cars look okay with big shiny rims but i never really got into that and don't even get me started on prices of the rims and special low profile tires . And thank you i decided to give it my own custom touch making use of a chevy s10 blazer aftermarket billet grille (cut to fit). If you have a weekend to spare and a dremel tool with some cut off wheels i highly suggest it, it really sets the car off.



I love the rims in the second picture thats pretty much exactly what i want but with the white part painted black .
I still have the original delta 88 hubcaps but i'm missed all the emblems and 1 hubcap is missing the center chrome part (it fell off the car one night driving around with friends, i never found it ), so i decided to remove all the hubcaps after that.

In south jersey delta 88's are few and far in between at junkyard's, I've only found 3 delta 88's in the yard and that was 3-4 years ago and have since been crushed and probably made into a prius. There is 1 junkyard that has 4-5 80's delta 88's and 98's scattered through their yard but hes a complete rip off and charges outrageous prices (charged me 65 bucks for the original 2 piece grille). He also wanted 20 bucks for each hubcap a total of 80 bucks when most JY's charge 4-5 bucks each. So i haven't really bothered with the hubcaps, I figure I'l save my money for olds rally wheels.

I'll keep my eyes open for you. I've seen these on ebay every so often at reasonable prices, but they need a lot of cleaning up. Basically they are your stock 15" SS111's with a special decorative center cap. So you could start the ball rolling by putting SS111's on the car and find the center caps later. Just use the standard center caps for now. I think your car would look excellent trimmed out like that. SS wheels are fairly common, just make sure you get the 15".

Don't ask me why but when i was growing up most kids my age wanted mustangs, camaro's corvettes, skylines ect. and me i always wanted an old 80's box style full size sedan, i don't know why, but i always found them huge, comfortable, and fully loaded, plus the power of a v8 under the hood (until i realized how much of a slug the 307 was) and just a real american mans kind of car. And with the 350 under the hood i love smoking stangs and older 80's and 90's camaros, the look on their face when they lose to a 80's sedan is priceless

Okay cool thank you, Well as you can see i love a challenge. Soon i'll post pics and a write up of what I've done in the builds and project forum so keep a look out. And I'm in South Jersey close to Atlantic city and not far from Philly.
