Question '73 Delta88 mirror part number

Hi all. I need a R/H door mirror for my Delta to get it through rego and would like to source an oem or at the very least a good aftermarket copy.
I have found a few on egay with "part numbers" but cant find info on the original Olds part number for the R/H side mirror to cross reference.

Does someone have access to this info and or know a supplier for this part? Thanks for looking.

Fusick sells some exterior chrome rearview mirrors for full-size Oldsmobiles, but, unfortunately, not for the '73 models or any post-'70 model. They're on page 15 of their big car catalog. You could probably make one work if you don't mind that it's not correct for the car.

I've got a '73 Custom Cruiser with the right-hand chrome mirror, but to get at the part number requires removing the door panel to remove the mirror to look at the bottom side of it, and I don't really want to do that. If it would be any help, I could take some detailed, close-up photos of it that you could compare to any mirrors you see on ebay or anywhere else.

I've got a reference for the "1974-75 B, C and E, Opt DF3 & D33 body exterior RH mirror, 9738717". I'm not sure why it doesn't list this as fitting the 1973. jaunty75 do you think they would interchange?

It may be too late, but there was a local person selling a 1973 Custom Cruiser wagon for parts. It had both outside mirrors on it. Here's a link to that thread. You can always check to see if he still has the car and would consider selling the right hand mirror.

If it isn't an exact match, I have to believe it would be about as close to an exact replacement as he's likely to find short of locating the actual thing, and it certainly ought to serve his purpose.

Thanks for your replies.
I did manage to find several aftermarket replica mirrors in the U.S.
One is on an epic journey to be part of my 88 as I type...

r/h mirror

might be a tough find as most of these didn't have passenger mirrors -- my '73 does not ---

just an update, the repro R/H door mirror that arrived from 'Trailer Hitch USA' is a reasonable quality, exact copy of the original Olds door mirror size, shape and style, despite my '73 delta not being listed in the compatible vehicles guide. Happy with that purchase

I have also received the 'GM Models price guide' booklet from '73 which includes engine options and accessories with part numbers for all Olds, Chev, Buick and Pontiac models from 1973. A repro booklet printed under license, but nice to have in the glovebox with all the other original paperwork. The book came from 'vintageautoliterature' on ebay.
I have also bought various repro decals from them, spare wheel and jack storage, 455 emissions decals for the engine bay, tyre pressure and size placard and a few others. All repros but the quality is ok and the size/colour is correct.

Here are a few pics of the original and repro mirrors as well as the repro part numbers
I didnt need a remote passenger side mirror but now i have the option to hook it up if i find an escutcheon plate for the inside door trim. It was an option in 73.

I just used this part # to ordered a pass-side (right) mirror from RockAuto. I'll see how it works out. What could possibly go wrong? Thanks, Ken

I don't believe this is true. There is no mention of a passenger side remote control mirror in the '73 Full-Size owner's manual nor in any of the '73 sales literature that I've seen. The first mention is in the '74 brochure, and the '75 brochure actually points out that the control for the remote-controlled passenger side mirror was in the center of the dash, not on the inside of the passenger side door which would make no sense as it wouldn't be reachable by the driver.

I remember on my father's '76 Cadillac the passenger side mirror remote control was located in the center dash to the right of the right-side-of-steering-column instrument cluster and to the left of the clock. The driver would have to reach just about as far as he would to reach the center A/C duct in order to control the mirror.

I checked the '73 Fisher Body Manual as well, and while there are a full description and diagrams regarding removal and installation of the driver's door remote mirror, there is no mention of a passenger door remote mirror.

As I say, I don't think this was an option until later in the decade.
