i have a 53 olds super 88 which i bought 3 months ago. today i wanted to change all the plugs set timing and so on. When it came time to set timing the distributor won't move. it does not rotate, i cannot get it to move at all. i spent hours today trying to loosen it but it will just not move.

try wd40, also pb penetrating liquid and it will not turn.

any help or suggestions would be appreciated

You did loosen the hold down clamp bolt? If you did your just going to have to keep working at it.
