I wanna choke the choke

I found a broken vaccumm line but don't know if that's the problem. Line from the catch can to the carb.

When warmed up sometimes the choke will shut and the car will stall. The only way to restart the car is to open it up and force the plate open by holding the lever with a screwdriver or something.

Any ideas, very

 

If choke is electric check fuses & Choke relay. If Vac check pulloff
