1969 delta 88 convertible top switch

i sorted my electric problem,

the reasen my roof would't get up i think is the switch i used.
I used a 16 amp warn winch switch becouse i did'nt have the original.

now after almost 2 years it is getting tired and doesn't work properly anymore.
3 conectors are out, and the other 3 are working with interval.
Now i have to put the roof back in 3 or 4 times becouse the switch is getting hot and stops.

So i need a 1969 convertible top switch, i saw one on ebay but it is 85 bucks.

And i do not know if it is as original becouse it is taped. But the conector is the right one.

Does anyone have a good switch? Or is the price fair an ebay.

And if i need to replace it i want to do it the right way.

Thanks

bought me a switch from a cutlass 68 69 type of switch.

I do not have the original, and it seems to be hard to get me one.
I hope it wil fit, the wire conector seems be the same.

And i hope it wil work, so i can look for a original in time.
Maybe the oldsstuff supliers have new ones in the future.

He i need some help guy's.
After burning my 16 amps on off on switch

I tried to fix a cutlass convertible top switch in my 69 88 delta.
Ordered it from convertible shop on ebay.

I'm not at all heapy with this switch, it is dangerus becouse it sticks or does not work.
Pitty i cut the wires so the 88 conector would fit.

So i need a original top switch or a solution.
tried to order a high current switch from the states 40 amps, but that is difficult becous i live in the netherlands and are countering errors with filling in the blanks.

So if anyone know a solution, i be heppy to hear.
Running out of ideas now,

and bought one original switch from ebay and he's not sending it over and did cancel it 2s

So HELP!!!!!!!

Have you tried to disassemble and clean it out, lube the mechanics, and sand/polish the contacts? A Dremel tool works great for this. I have brought many factory switches back from the dead this way. Try it - what's to lose?

i don't have the original.
So i used a winch switch (on off on) and it fits like a glove.

But it is a 16 A (4) switch normaly used with relays.
After 2 years it doesn't work propperly anymore and is getting hot.

Bought me a replica cutlass type after the seccond time i backed out off a ebay deal.
Bought it but he is not sending it to the netherlands while i paid exta shippingcosts.
He did'nt collect the transfer.

So i seek a original or a solution of using a other type off switch that holds the 40 amps.

The replica off the cutlass is a bad reproduction the switch getting stuck or doesn't reach the contacts. And the contacts are getting loos fast.
