Does anyone know what its going to take to replace the dash top switch in my 72? I have a new one from yearone. Ac ductwork looks like It may have to moved for easy access but idk. Does anyone have a colored wiring diagram for the switch harness ?

 

The Chassis service manual has a really nice one! you can actually read it! Are you close to Vero?

 

AC duct will probably need to come out, along with gas gauge, & maybe speedo. The bezel is held on with 2-1/4" nuts, the switch itself is held in with 2-1/4" screws. Not real easy or fun to replace, but take your time & it can be done. IIrc, you can remove just the switch & leave the bezel in place.
