1966 88 2 door part car
I have just picked up a 66 88 2 dr coupe that i'm parting out. It's ruff but let me know if there any parts that you may need. It has a 330 with (5) cast on the head. And looks like a th400

If it's a factory air car I'm interested in the elbow fitting on the top transmission cooler line where it hits the radiator. Has to be from a factory air car.
425dude, if the horn relay is the origial type, it's the same.

I don't know if it would fit but the bumper looked good at a glance. I will grab a photo of it if you want. I live in Minneapolis, MN. shipping may be a problem unless you would have any ideas for shipping.
Thanks for your interest Bill

I also need the sun visors. I don't really care too much about the condition on those.
Passenger door armrest.
Let me know if this stuff is available. Thanks!

I dyed it black and it looks good as new.
The package tray, you may as well plan on making from scratch. I'll send you some pics of mine. I made it out of 1/2 inch MDF and carpeted it. It came out really nice.

Looking for misc. small parts
I have a 1966 Jetstar Eighty-Eight, am looking for a glove box lock, passenger arm rest, and most importantly, the dust cap for the front left hub that controls the speedometer (I have been driving without knowing how fast I'm going for the past year or so). PLEASE let me know if these parts are in usable condition and if you can help me out. Thanks!

These do show up on Ebay from time to time; last auction just ended ended yesterday. If trainfixer doesn't have it, you may want to call Everett Horton (the seller), who may have another; his number is in the auction description. He' truly one of the Good Olds Guys.

Apparently there IS a different style, something to do with different diameters...I don't have the details at my fingertips. Chances are the "standard" one Everett was selling is he right one for your car (I think there is a larger "HD duty" cap as well).
In the following thread, it seems a fellw member here may have found an interchange:

If these parts are still kicking around, what kind of speedometer cable is it? To the trans, or to the left front wheel?

I actually went salvage yard diving a few months ago and found the HD duty cap, which is, as you said, a different diameter (too big). I will get in contact with Mr. Horton if trainfixer can't help me out Thanks for the help!

Any reproduction B-body package tray will fit. I know they're available both smooth and mesh for Chevrolet and Pontiac and those will fit Buick and Olds. Just make sure it's for your bodystyle, and in the case of 2-door hardtops, whether it's for GP/Starfire or a regular fastback 2DHT.

Don't know if you still have the parts car or not. I have a 1966 4 door Jetstar.. Looking for the hood hinges , both sides complete. Not sure if they are the same from 2 to 4 door but if so , I would buy the hinges. Still have them?

Any 65-66 B body olds hinge will work. Any yards near where you live?

John, this car must be a Jetstar 88 since it has a 330. The J88 had smaller brakes and the mid-size car's 4-3/4" bolt circle. They won't work for your car. I believe I saved the front drums from my 67 if you need them.

Glenn,
After realizing how difficult it is to find drums that fit my car, I thought I'd ask. I do remember seeing in all the online parts lists that JS88 had the smaller drums.
I don't need them yet but thought I would inquire for the heck of it.
Regarding the rear drums you set me up with, there was a stamp visible after getting them cleaned up. The number "35324" and off to the side was a letter "K". This was on the bolt face towards the rim. These are the ones that had the yellow crayon marked "70 delta".
I'm finding myself checking this forum more and more as the information is priceless.
