1965 Delta 88, Jetstar 1, and Starfire found in yard

All three cars were picked apart. My search for a rear bumper turned up one on a 65 Jetstar 1 with a trailer hitch. Looked like someone tried to take it off some years ago and gave up. After 5 non-stop hours of fighting with the bolts, I now have a usable rear bumper.

Interestingly enough, the 65 Starfire had a rear bumper from an 88 with metal patches welded over the openings.

This car had a license plate on it last tagged in April 1983. Very rough car.

65 Starfire

Nothing usable on the car at all. Trees have taken over.

The car had a grill from a 65 98.

Interior was there, but beyond use. Only nice item left was the glove box door. Side trim was shot.

I did manage to pull 2 of the 4 headlight rings, which should clean up nice for a driver.

that looks like the 68 toro that i still have to pick up. i will have to cut down a tree or two to get it out of the woods. i am going to try to get a picture of it before i pull it out of the woods. i paid for it 3 years ago but need to get it home. paid $100 for it and the engine was not locked up. at least it was not 3 years ago.

Take some pics if possible.

The search for parts has become a hunt for lost treasure!

I'm kind of crying a little. If anyone doubts how long it would take for the planet to forget the human race ever existed, I suggest they look at the above photos.

The cars were trashed when they came inton the yard during the early 1980's!

Their parts will help my car stay on the road! The ultimate sacrifice.

Went back this weekend to look over the cars for anything at all. In a stroke of bad luck the owner told me all cars were crushed.
