1964 Dynamic 88 B07 Apprehender
Hi. I just wanted to put up a photo of this '64 Dynamic with police apprehender option. I've been cleaning it up for the past two years! Almost done and want to show it off. Original '56 hubcaps and trim rings (15") and the only Dynamic 88 with the Starfire 394 cubic inch, 345hp motor. Ordered by Georgia Highway Patrol and never put into service.
Hope to take it to the SoCal Oldsmobile show this October. I will post more soon. If anyone knows of another, please contact me as I have been unable to find any in existence. Thanks!

I have seen several " apprehender " cars on this sight . A '65 , '67 & '68 ,and now your '64 .
Old cop cars are extremely rare , because cop cars typically led a very harsh and short life .
100,000 miles in a year was not uncommon .
This car should also have a rear sway bar .

Yeah, they would have had at least an extra hundred pounds on the front wheels, and not a lot of extra HP. The highest output 394 that year was the RP L75 motor with 345 HP and 440 lb-ft, available only with the Slim Jim. The L74 394 was 330 HP and 440 lb-ft, available with a column-shifted three speed manual. Of course the 442 330 was 310 HP and 355 lb-ft with a four speed.
