1957 Olds parts
#3
I am looking to upgrade the '57 wipers to electric. I had an address or number for "Oldsmobile Mike" who offered some insight on the switch. Mike may not be his first name. I can't find the note. I am also looking to get rid of the padded dash and go with paint. Also looking for the clock and associated bezel.

Look into a Newport electric wiper motor, easy install and they work flawlessly. I've had one for a number of years and wouldn't build another classic without one. Ask around others have them here and the reviews are good...... Tedd......http://www.yogisinc.com/index.cfm/pa...cat/cat281.htm
PS. here is the number for USA Parts Supply somewhat like Fusick I use them for a comparison when shopping. They do carry some parts and services that Fusick doesn't. (703)335-1935. and have a paper catalog.

I converted my 57 super 88 to a Newport electric. Easy installation and I used the rotary switch that came with it. I removed the dash lighter and used a headlight switcb bezel to blend it in on the dash.
