1956 olds front suspension help needed
Im doing the front suspension on my 1956 oldsmobile..im replacing eveything in the photos that are marked with the letter A...just wondering if i can just replace the rubber bushings on the ones i marked with the letter B...or do i have to replace the metal shaft too..and where is the cheapest place to order these items..thank shane
The upper & lower pivot pins you have marked 'B' just have grease seals in in them. There are no bushings. If they aren't torn, hard , or missing you can leave them alone. But, they are easy to replace and are available from Fusick for $2 each. Because the pivot pins are used to adjust caster & camber, you'll need a frontend alignment after replacing them.
