Swapped Jetaway for Turbo 350 lock up

Wow,
What a differance.
Although my 67C/S Convetible is all orig and only 32,000 miles.
The jetaway was bucking and slipping.
Swapped it for a Turbo 350 with a lock-up converter yesterday.
Drivability is 100 times better and pickup from a dead stop feels like a swapped out the engine.
The only Mods I had to do was cut 1 wire from the old Kickdown unit to power the lock up converter, and I am trying to fabricate a bracket for the new kickdown linkage .
The car is soo much more smooth and fun to drive now,
not to mention a dropped a few hundred RPM'S on the Hwy.

I know the feeling I hated the jetaway when it was in mine. I went from 2.73 with jetaway to 5-speed std with 3.73. Now that was a difference.

So the 330 isn't so much a slug as it is the tranny and rear holding it back?

Oh the 330 is still a slug for my standards but before it was a super slug. Now the average joe blow not used to real 500HP cars would think its plenty respectable as it is now.
