One Piece Bearing/Seal Pros and Cons

Regarding the '72 Cutlass 8.5 rear end, are there any pros/cons of the one piece bearing/seal combo over the bearing and seal being separate?

Thanks, Mike

I am unfamiliar with the one piece design. The two piece design has two separate parts that are pressed on, then have a lock ring pressed on as well to help keep everything in place. I had a wheel bearing come loose once, so I would want to be sure the one piece design holds on as well as the separate pieces.

no such beast

I do not think your looking at the correct parts for your 72 cutlass 8.5 rear end.
bearing is always separate from the seal
