I know its for 3.42 ratio but can't find anything at confirms posi or not? Anyone know without me cracking it open?

Yes, my reference book shows from 1968 through 1972 the TM code was for a posi and it agrees that its a 3.42 ratio.

Agreed. I have a 68 O-Type 3.42 open and it is a TL code (HD 31 spline).
