Question on U-joints for a 1984 Custom Cruiser

Ok I am looking to buy U joints for my 1984 Custom Cruiser but also my Olds 98 Hearse. Figure I might as well buy a bunch at once. But when I went to look they show different sizes. Some say "1.125 In. Bearing Cup Diameter, with 2.556 In. Inside Lock-Up" while others say "1.188 In. Bearing Cup Diameter, with 3.622 In. Outside Lock-up" Any idea which ones are correct or why the difference?

I will also point out the difference in these parts in an inside locking clip or an outside one. I have only ever seen outside clips on my GM cars. Also The U joints being replaced are the original ones that were filled with plastic and therefore don't use clips. Would like to order the parts before taking things apart.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but I thought the u-joints with the plastic injection retaining system had tabs on the outside of the joint caps on the shaft, and the replacement joints use an internal clip. Maybe that’s only on the pinion yoke?
