Question about rear end swap

Hello All,

I think I already know my answer but I want to make sure before I bolt in the new rear end, I hate surprises.

I have a 1970 442 rear end 3:23 posi that I am going to swap into my 1969 cutlass. I just want to make sure that I don’t need a new driveshaft. The info I have been able to find online says the 1968-1970 rear ends are the same (442.com).
Thank You

As long as you didn't change tranny models, you should be all right.

Do yourself a favor and get the correct speedo gears fro the trans while you're at it. You MIGHT have to swap the drive gear, but you won't know that until you check to see what you have in there to begin with.
