Posi ID?

Found this unit for sale while looking for a posi for my G-Body 7.5 rear end.
Can someone ID it for me?
Spozed to fit 7.5/7.625 rear ends.

Torsen Posi

Zexen Torsen Gleasen GM posi unit. They came in the 1999-2002 LS1 camaros and Trans ams

Aftermarket would call it a true trac.
It is a Worm gear posi unit.

That looks like A 2 SERIES UNIT WHICH WILL HOLD 2.14 - 3.08 ratios.
It will be 28 spline axles .....Soooo you will need 28 spline upgrade axles to fit it in a G-body.

Looking at the picture. Is the ring gear side carrier bearing larger diameter than the passenger side carrier ?

Can you get more pictures of this?

Will post more pics if I get them.
Also asked seller for deck height measurement so I can tell what series it is.
New axles are a given, all part of the plan...
As I have the looong legged 2.14's in there now, anything would be an improvement.
Would like to go 3.08 for all around driving, but a 3.23 series 3 would not be the end of the world.
Running a 3 speed auto so 3.73 is NOT where I'd want to be rpm wise.

I think I have used 3.08 and 2.73 on the shelf. GM Originals
Lots of 3.42 ratio also

When I had a G Body car I found that the 82-93? S10/S15/Sonoma 7.5 Posi units are available, cheap, and 26 spline, and the 93-02 Camaro Firebird gears are typically 3.23 or 3.42 ad fit a G body 7.5 housing and can be had dirt cheap on Ebay, as most of the guys have a high-winding LS and want 4.10 or higher gears.
