New backing plates!!!

I got them from a guy on ROP. Man I couldn't be happier.
This is how they looked when I pulled them out of the box.

And he even threw in the backing plate nuts, bolts and wheel cylinder bolts!

Here is the re-assembled axle. The shop that replaced the wheel bearings from some reason thought they needed to paint the retaining plates gold.

Thanks. Now all I need to do is find what I did with the brand new studs so I can throw it up under the car.

I'd worry about the rust colored retaining bolts.

Looks good.

The plates look real solid but are showing wear on the lower pads where the shoes rest and move slightly...new shoes will bind at that spot..I would have welded the wear spot and ground it down smooth...the rest looks great

Yeah that would have been ideal but there are a couple of issues with that plan. 1 I am broke. 2 I don't have a welder nor do I know how to weld (really need to do that) and 3 I am BROKE .
