Need '68-72 Cutlass housing for mock up

I know this is a stab, but I'm hoping a member here may have a '68-72 Cutlass rear housing I can us to mock up my 9". The shop that is welding my brackets on needs one for measurment. I could use the one in my car, but I'm trying to keep my car as mobile as possible since it won't be in my garage pretty soon. A bare housing would be best as it won't be too heavy for me to cart to the shop and back to the owner.

Any assistance that could be offered would be great. I'm in the Detroit area and this will be returned with a 12pack of you favorite beverage

thanks

Size and dimension don't help with bracket location. Places like Moser, Currie etc have a jig they use that is based on A body mounting points. Places that don't do enough of these to justify building a Jig, need the car or a rear to get the measurements. Thanks for your feedback though.

I could strip an 8.2" A-body housing, and ship that to you.I need all of my 8.5's to build, but I don't have any immediate need for the 8.2's.

Thanks for the offer Brian, no need to go through that much trouble. A friend says he has one I can use. I will need to remove some things to make it lighter, I'll have to go through the trouble of putting it back together though.

I was just hoping to have one stripped local. I'll be lifting this in and out of my SUV, so any weight I can save will be great.

A bare housing is just shy of 75lbs. Just an FYI,so you know what you're lifting.

I expected as much and that's totally acceptable. I'm sure the machine shop would appreciate it also.
