Moser 9 inch in a 64 F85 build
Just installed the Moser 9 inch 3:50 gear set in my 64 F-85 build and it has the 64-72 GM axle housing ends that I'm going to order the rear 11 inch drum kit from Master Power Brakes. From there is a there a brake line kit that will fasten to the 9 inch axle housing with pre-bent hard lines that go from the wheel cylinder to the center distribution block and soft line?

Since the 9" has different contours compared to the 10-bolt & 12-bolt,you will need to hand-bend your own lines for a better fit.You could start with 12-bolt lines, and modify them around the center.

What type of fasteners would you use to attach the lines to the axle housings? Also I think the old soft line from the cross member and the distribution block will work, may have to make the bolt hole a little bigger to fit the stud on the Moser. Will be working on this week later,

Brian, I may try and bend the original one. Since the car was original with a single master cylinder I need to locate a later year distribution block, master cylinder and PB booster. Looking into the after market and maybe the distribution block from a 70-72?

Rob the last one I did I made a simple braket the bolted to two of the carrier studs. I then bolted the factory GM T fitting to that braket and just made the lines from scratch.
PS you better get busy. Power Tour 2012 just released Detroit to Dallas

I've made my own,and with that type of girdle cover,I have also tapped the top of the cover itself, but not entirely through, unless you wrap the bolt with teflon tape to prevent oil from wicking through.
