Howdy all. I am looking for some advise. I have a 77 cutlass with 350/350. I have done headers and exhaust as well as just got 3.73 posi. That all I have done. I am curious who all has had experiance with these gears in a 700r4 and a 2004r. I am looking at the ratios and cannot make up my mind which is better for the gearing i have. Also what stall speed do you think will work. I have an edelbrock performer rpm intake and cam that will be going on soon as well. Thanks so much.. Cant wait to get her more goodies.

 

The gears are steep enough that you can go easy on the converter. Nothing more than 2600rpm stall for a street car..but that's just my opinion
