Drive Shaft Media Blasting
What is the consensus on media blasting a drive shaft. Mine has surface rust and I would like to clean it up.

I think as long as the U-joints are removed and the press-in bearing surfaces are protected, go for it!

Not removing any metal just surface rust. I doubt that would amount to much weight overall.
