"TO" DIFFERENTIAL difference from T3

"TO" DIFFERENTIAL difference from T3

Hello, I have a 1968 442 with the T3 differential 3.91 posi 31 spline 672 pod. What is the difference in the TO 3.91 posi 31 spline 672 pod rear differental???

The Good Olds Days book says TO is for standard brakes, T3 is for front disc brake (JL2) or heavy duty brake (J56) cars.

Ah yes, the disc brakes. My car has the 4 piston calipers.

So this would mean the drum cylinders are different sizes for the different applications, I believe.
