Axle Retention

I'm swapping the brakes out of my BOP 8.2 and need to remove the axles to do this. I just found that these are flanged axle retention so no C clips. Does that mean I just need to slide hammer the axles out? Thanks in advance.

If you need to remove backing plate then the axles must come out otherwise brakes/wheel cyls can be done without pulling axles. Axle bolts/nuts need to be removed then they should come out with not much force. A slide hammer may be extreme but could be required.
