What would you think these used parts might cost?
For a 10 bolt gm bop corporate rear type.
1. Used Complete Posi Carrier, like S clip type.
2. Set of used 28 Spline Axles

s spring posi units are getting hard to find.
(condition will make the price.)
Series carrier will also make the price.
Just not that easy of a question.
THEN there is the WANT factor.
People like the s spring posi BUT My opinion is to buy a NEW better design unit.
Reason -
The 2 LARGE window carrier is a weak spot for the 'S' spring posi and the carrier case flexes as there is not much cast metal holding the case tight so spiders to not force the case
Eaton clam shell unit is way more sturdy - Auburn case is good to...But I am not a huge fan of the cone type units as they are not rebuild-able after being worn.
Remember these units work with spinning outward forces and the case is what keeps the unit working properly to force the side gears into the clutches tight into the case side cavities to make the posi engage tight....Spider gear deflection is always a problem and the case rigidity keeps the spiders from climbing each other and creating more backlash between them hence causing failure of the spiders hitting the wrong spots on the teeth faces under high power hits.
Worm gear posi units seem to be the rage these days...AND they do seem to hold up well unload on the street and trac. Limited slip additive not necessary either.
We are still seeing how the units will fail once they have been in long enough to wear out.
EVERYTHING wears OUT... So only time will tell on these units.

single axle from 25.00 -100.00 each again all depoends onthe condition and want.
bolt in axles are alway more money than c-clip axles to make.... So in this you can get more money for the bolt in axles than the c-clip axles.
...again someone has to want it to make it worth anything.
Condition will help the sale.
