70 12 Bolt Chrome Diff Cover
Does anyone make a chrome differential cover or polished aluminum cover for a 70 12 bolt rear. I know supercars unlimited carries the w27 aluminum cover but would prefer something different.
Thank you,

You could have the factory cover chromed. That would be better than any taiwan cover, even if there was one.
The only aftermarket cover besides the W27,is the LPW aluminum girdle cover. They were making those for the O-axle.I've installed a few,but I don't know if they are still making them.

Since the Type O axle (please don't call it a "12 bolt") was only used in 1967-70 Olds A-body cars, you won't find any aftermarket parts - the demand just isn't there. As Brian said, just have you stocker chrome plated. I've done that in the past and it looks fine (until it starts to rust, at which time you'll wish you went with powder coat...).

Its a 12 bolt cover which is what I was refering to. I see there is some difference of opinion among Olds guys as to what they are called. I was on the phone a year ago with Super Cars Unlimited and he insisted that even though it has a 10 bolt ring it was a 12 bolt. I just went along with him, not something I would argue about. As a matter of fact I was refered to a powdercoater by the guy who sandblasted the rear. I have a valley pan and a fan I bought from a guy who had them powdercoated chrome and they look real nice, I may just go that route.
Thank you for the input.
