where should i look for the stamp on the axle for ratio? It is a olds 12 bolt out of a 1967 with 3.91 posi. Thanks

 

found it! upside down TO on the right tube.

 

Yes all Oldsmobile axle tube code should be on the back side (facing backward in reference to the car... on the passenger side between the spring perch and cast center section even will be upside down usually.
