I didn't know about the rear end either, but my friends at Google tell me it's a 3.23 (per the Classic Car Database). No other ratio is listed so this is most likely the one although there could be options, I guess. One way to confirm is the old standby method of putting the rear up on jackstands and counting wheel rotations vs. driveshaft rotations.
With regard to parts, you picked the perfect place to start. If nobody on CO has them (or knows where to get them) then they likely don't exist!

A 66 Jetstar 88 (330) with automatic trans should have a 2.78 P-type 8.2" 10 bolt.
Optional ratios would be 3.08 or 3.23.
Posi differentials, ring & pinion sets, bearings and parts are readily available for that rear.

NOW that is all if the car is still ALL FACTORY. Most cars by now have been fix repair wreck restored raced etc.
PLEASE send pictures o f the rear cover area and any casting numbers you can find in the webbing or axle tube etc. Jim

The 66 Jstar shares all body parts with the 88 series and some sfire parts and some 98 parts. Trim will vary. The junkyard or used are pretty much your only option. As for mechanical parts there should not be a problem....
