1965 Dynamic 88 Rear Axle Swap

Is there a chevy rear axle that is easier to get parts for that will swap directly into this car?

Unfortunately, the B/C body cars don't have many aftermarket parts available. If you want to put a posi in your 65 Dynamic 88 I suggest getting the setup you want and making it fit. You will have to fabircate on the new axle to get it to fit. I've always thought of putting a Ford 9" rear axle in my 71 98. I've heard that parts for this differential are easy to come by. I haven't looked into it much though and I don't know how the axle would need to be modified to fit into my car.

It's all "how bad do you want it." The Chevy impala 1965/1970 corporate 10/12 bolt will fit length wise but mounting brackets are different, fabrication to your brackets off your rearend needed. Ken

This has what you need, plus the same seller has 3.55 gears.

You would still be using your Oldsmobile (Pontiac) axles. Oldsmobile used the corporate Pontiac rear end till 1967. You "may" be able the get better axles made by Moser but costly. Jmo, Ken
