Luckily for me when I bought my Olds Super 88 the Hyrdamatic(Jetaway) transmission had a few more problems then a clogged filter, so I bought a rebuilt 1960 Oldsmobile Hydramatic (Jet-away) transmission. Bolted right in but the drive shaft is about 4 inches to short and they changed the spline count on the output shaft. So my question is can a drive shaft shop lengthen the shaft, and where can I find a slip yoke that will fit this transmission? The dimensions of the output shaft: 32 spline 1.688 diameter (1'' 11/16)
