ID factory body parts

Hello all. Could anyone tell me if factory body parts (65 Cutlass), to be more specific front fenders, hood and hood hinges have any identifying marks or date codes stamped in them ? My hood hinges are worn and I was wondering if reproduction hinges are a good idea or if I should have mine restored. My car also has fender to door alighnment . I'm no body man but sure looks like the fenders just dont match the body contour of the doors. I was going to bring it to a local bodyshop for there opinion but just diggin for info first. Thanks Frank

I would be amazed if you could even get repro hood hinges for a 1965 Cutlass.

They are available as repops for 64-67 GTOs and they are the same as 64-67 f85.

I know when we had someone come to look at our LS-6 Chevelle, he looked under the Quarter Panel drip rails to see the factory part #'s, and they were there!
I believe they're along the bumper areas on the flat side of the fenders - never seen them on a hood, though.
