Is there a good way to remove the stainless trim on the back edge of the hood by the windshield? I'm looking and I do not see any fastener's

 

I figured it out, since there were no fastener's, I decided to try a piece of wood and a hammer, patience and working back and forth and she popped off with no damage

 

The same method works when putting it back together, too. The key word - patience! I found I had to be a bit "stronger" in putting it back on, but it eventually went on like it should!

Before you reinstall it look CLOSELY at the underside of the hood where the trim covered up the underside skin....you should see a few "retention" bumps in the underside hood skin. These are what put up the most resistance when removing/reinstalling the stainless trim piece...the trim has to spread open as you push it back on to get over these bumped areas.

 

Thanks for the tips, hopefully I will be installing the trim Tuesday, i'll be shooting paint tomorrow and reassembling then
