The Standard Catalog of Oldsmobiles does not break out the SX weights, but it would be very close to the 442 as they both had a 455. The shipping weight of the '70 442 is listed as 3844 lbs. Transmissions, and any other options will affect that weight. My '70 SX hardtop had a weight of 3646 on the title, buckets, console auto, a/c, 8 track. My buddies '70 442, also a floor shift auto, but no a/c or 8 track, was listed as 3800 lbs.? which makes no sense, so I would say between 3850 & 4000 lbs. I don't know if any truck scales in your area allow privately owned vehicles to be weighed, but it never hurt to ask. We have a local landfill that uses a scale to weigh your vehicle before and after you dump your load to assess how much to charge you. That would be another venue to pursue.

Thank you very much! I need it for the first upcoming registration here in Sweden. They are asking ME about the weight!! No wonder all US cars got different data in their documents Ps I don´t mean that I don´t trust your info!!)

The point is, The first registration is nothing but a joke. One guy says that and the other something totally different.
