What to do... 69 project car

Well, it is in the garage and dried-out. There are no headers / manifold pipes. I grabbed the manifold pipes off my70 parts car...then got such a good deal on some flow-tech headers I couldnt pass them up. There is a starter in-place but battery cable not attached. I'm guessing the former owner(s) ran into some fit problems. If you loook at my pics you'll see the hornless / chokeless double-pumper...I found the vaccum line attached to the fuel lines...hmmmm.... sprk-plugs are painted gold I guess to keep the paint out. Unknown how long it has been sitting so I dont know what condition the gas tank is in. Should I try and get it running so I can move it around and see just what this engine really is...or should I yank the plant and just start body work?
I re-contacted the seller who said he thinks it is a fresh 307 bored to 350 with a wicked cam. But obviously he knows very littlew about anything...

I suggest you treat this as a total unknown. Change the oil and filter, pull the valve covers and see if oil has ever been pumped through the engind. If not prime the the engine using a drill in the distributor hole before atempting to start the engine. Also replace the spark plugs. The vaccum line connected to a fuel source is an indicator of someone not knowing what he is doing. Proceed with caution. Drain tank and replace with new fuel. replace fuel filter. Give it a try. Good luck No picture were attached

Yeah, considering that there's over 1/4" of difference in bore going from a 307 to a 350. The casting number will tell you what block you have.

Thanks for the advice. I will keep you posted. I think I will go for running it so I can move it around easier. Pics attached (correctly this time)
What about the headers....will they fit past that huge starter?
