Here's a few pictures of my convertable. Trying to get a reasonable price range for this purchase. Wife says we should just keep it and buy a different car for the boy. I'm kind of in agreement. Beginning to really like this car. Hope this works.http://www.flickr.com/photos/68convertable/?saved=1

Welcome to the site. I would listen to her unless I really needed the money. That girl looks sweet. I think you will likely regret the sale later.

My son just turn 16 and got his permit a couple of weeks ago so I went looking for a car for him. I found this and bought it as soon as I saw it. He wanted an old muscle looking car and it brought back some fond memories of my old 68 GTO.

Pakrat, really nice lookin ride, I would probably find your boy a different car, I was that age once and not quite the responsible diver, or you could put a two barrel on it you 68 and retard the timing a bit. Remember at that age it is all about showing off. Best of luck!

X2 missed the pert about it being for the kid. I would find hin a nova 4dr with an inline 6 or something he cant get too busted up in, but still look cool in.

That car is beautiful, you should keep it for you. I say find your son a ricer and let him beat it to death and then maybe he will appreciate the Olds. He will be able to saver the beauty of the Olds.

Nice car, keep it for yourself and let the kid drive it on special outings and see how he treats it. Can be a great father and son bonding thing you can do together
