trunk chrome trim 69 cutlass

does anyone make a repro for the chrome trim piece that runs along the trunk of 69 Cutlass S. Runs along width of trunk w/ oldsmobile imprinted on pass side of trim.

Well I hate to burst your bubble, but no. Trust me I know. You can get yours rechromed granted it will be expensive to get it rechromed, but it can be done. If you don't have one post a parts wanted thread. There are a few out there on parts cars.

i've got one, but pitted, okay shape. anyone have pic of what they look like in new/restored condition?

Well this isn't rechromed, but it is what we did. I am sure it is not correct, but for next to nothing it was worth it.

Is that Argent paint that you used? If not what medium did you use?? Thanks.

The silver was not painted just polished as best we could. We then painted the black and red to go with all the emblems. Like I said probably not correct, but looks good to me.
