Sheet Metal Replacement (Floor)

Is there any difference between OPGI's products (Floor Pan Set $809.00) vs. others such as ABS-Auto Body Specialties (Floor Pan Set $499.00)? Has anyone noticed or experienced quality diferences? Installation differences? Or even OEM differences? I want to know if it is worth saving $300.

I was comparing floor pans from Goodmark, Sherman, Dynacorn, and OPGI and wanted to know which was best. I just bought the full floor w/ braces and inner rockers for $850 w/ shipping. It's through Summit and it's by Goodmark. I'm installing it in my 67 Cutlass Supreme conv. 330ci HC.

Its all the same Chinese junk. I have found Tamaz to have the best shipped to my door price on a couple of sheet metal orders I have placed.

That's why we have no jobs here, but that's another story; however, there is a difference when it comes to using recycled metals.

For a 67 hardtop Cutlass/442, I have the driver side rear pc brand new. Free to anyone if he/she pays shipping.

It is new and was shipped by mistake. The company told me to keep it because shipping it back was not worth it.

AMD Floor Pan

I bought a complete AMD floor pan with cross braces from Tamraz for $620 shipped. I was very happy with the part and the shipping process; installing it was a major PITA as I had to lift the body off the frame to get it into place. Only complaint about the part was the front seat belt bolt holes were in the wrong place, but I was able to drill new holes and re-weld the cage nuts in the right place.

X2. I actually got a one-piece 64-67 floor pan at Carlisle a couple of years ago for something like $450.

Well, I got the floor pan in and I could possibly be sending it back. Where the body mount bolts to the chassis (the bolt located on the passenger side, under the rocker panel, the nut that's welded in place is off centered. Summit said for me to price the cost of fixing it and they will refund me or ship another complete floor pan.
